James Martin shares health update as he returns to TV following cancer battle
James Martin gave an update on his cancer battle during an appearance on Lorraine on Monday morning.
The TV chef, 51, has previously had surgery to remove facial cancer after his first diagnosis in 2018.
Lorraine asked if he was feeling good during the star's Monday morning appearance to which the chef replied:
'Yes, the stitches have fallen out, as you know, the last time I was on, I was in the middle of operations. As we speak, the stitches have fallen out of my body at the moment and that's all clear, onwards and upwards!'

James first went public with his cancer battle last year when his foul-mouthed rant at his TV crew was laid bare by an extraordinary leaked tape recorded shortly after his diagnosis.
The TV star berated crew working on his food show James Martin's Spanish Adventure, with the extraordinary tape leaked to The Sun.
He told the newspaper that the outburst was the culmination of a string of unfortunate events in his life, which began with the death of his grandfather, then was followed by a home invasion by masked burglars, and finally his cancer diagnosis.
He said: 'I was then diagnosed with cancer on my face and I had to have surgery, which I couldn't do until two days before Christmas when we had finished filming. Since then it has returned on several occasions and I have to have regular treatments.'
The abusive rant which happened during the production of his show, James Martin's Saturday Morning, took place on a heated Zoom call in 2018 – the same year he had surgery for his cancer.
Martin said he 'wholly regrets' getting angry, and agreed 'lessons have been learned.'
In November James gave an update on his health during a tour date at Liverpool's Philharmonic Hall.
'On a personal note, I just wanted to say thank you for 30 years of television,' he told the crowd.

'For me personally, I've been through a lot of s**t with cancer but I'm getting sorted at the end of next month.
'I will be back fighting at the end of February but I'm going on a little bit of a break to get that sorted.'
James' popular Saturday Morning show is currently on air with the star telling Lorraine he is busy filming every week at his Hampshire home with celebrity guests.
He told Lorraine that 'I feel like I've found my home. Well I guess I have, it is in my home. I love that we get guests coming back.'
James is also currently enjoying a new romance with personal trainer Kim Johnson, four months after confirming his separation from former partner Louise Davies.
